Donald Herbert Teske
January 6, 1929 – December 14, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Teske on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Florence (2017) and his parents Nina and Herbert Teske.
Loving father to Beverly (Barry) Ladd, Roy (Jeannie) Teske and Carolyn Matthews. Proud grandfather to Ryan (Ashley), Kelly, Sarah, Tracey and Jenna (Adrian) and great-grandfather to Lila, Nixon, Leo and Victoria.
Survived by sisters Joy (late Dave), Barbara (Keith), Wendy (Russell) and brothers Bill (Barbara), Bob (Fay) and Ernie (Linda).
Born in Buckingham Quebec Don worked for the MacLaren Quebec Power Company for 44 years retiring in 1992. He loved the outdoors spending time fishing and hunting with his son and friends. He was a very caring and generous man devoted to his church and family.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff on the 4th floor of the Papineau Hospital (Buckingham) for their compassionate care.
A graveside service will be held at the Evangelical Baptiste Cemetery of Buckingham (George Street, Gatineau) on May 27, 2023 at 11 am followed by a celebration of his life at the Buckingham Evangelical Baptist Church Hall (117, MacLaren West, Gatineau).
Memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice in Donald’s memory.

It seems like sending condolences are not enough. I have so many happy memories of Don and family when we lived in High Falls and for many years after we moved from there. Bev, Roy,Carolyn and families , your Dad (Grandad ) will always have a special place in my heart.
So sorry to hear about Don’s passing. I had the privilege of serving him when I was an employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia and got to know him even more when he came to get his haircut in the basement at home. Such a kind and loveable man. My sincere condoleances to all of the family.
